A member of the Board of Commissioners at the Iraqi Media and Communications Commission and an expert in information technology with over 17 years of experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in information systems, along with multiple internationally recognized certifications.
He is dedicated to developing strategies that support startups in the telecommunications and technology sectors, recognizing their role in boosting the economy and combating unemployment. He also focuses on addressing digital transformation challenges, such as cybersecurity, to ensure effective digital inclusion.
Abdul Azim holds several key positions, including membership in the E-Governance Committee, the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), and the National Committee for Iraq’s accession to the World Trade Organization. He is also a founding member of the ISACA Baghdad Chapter for IT governance.
