Dhiya Ismail holds the position of Director of the Environment and Climate Change Department at the Forests and Desertification Control Directorate in the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture. In this role, he contributes to monitoring dust storms and participates in awareness programs about the dangers of climate change and its impacts on Iraq's national security. He also takes part in events and seminars aimed at promoting collaboration between government institutions and universities to address environmental and climate change challenges.
