Head of Masarat Foundation for Cultural and Media Development and an activist in interfaith dialog, civil liberties, and freedom of belief. He co-founded the Iraqi Council for Interfaith Dialogue 2013, the National Center for Countering Hate Speech 2018, the Institute for Religious Diversity Studies 2019, and the Institute for Diversity Journalism in Iraq 2020.
He is an assistant professor of international relations at the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Mustansiriyah University, author of 16 books on various diversity issues, and recipient of several international awards, including the Stefanos International Award 2018 for his role in defending problems of freedom of religion and belief in Iraq and the Middle East.
