He is the president and active member of several national and international associations in the field of water, dams, and the environment, and a faculty member and director of the Institutional Research Center (IRC) - Duhok University. And Secretary of the International Association of Hydrogeology (IAH) Iraq branch. And Director of the Water and Energy Strategies Institute "WESI", President of the Iraqi Water Resources Association - Duhok Branch, and a member of the Iraqi Elites and Competencies Forum - Agriculture and Irrigation Committee.
